Configuration
Configure SignFlow to work with your monday.com boards and Adobe Sign account.
Board Setup
Adding SignFlow to a Board
- Open the board you want to use with SignFlow
- Click the + button in the board header to add a view
- Select SignFlow from the app views list
- The SignFlow panel will appear alongside your board
Recommended Columns
SignFlow works well when your board includes columns like these, though none are strictly required:
| Column Type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Status | Displays the agreement status (synced automatically) |
| Text | Can receive form field data from signed agreements |
| Date | Can receive date-type form field data |
| Number | Can receive numeric form field data |
SignFlow Settings
Open the SignFlow panel on your board to access configuration. The settings control how data flows between monday.com and Adobe Sign.
Agreement Status Sync
Controls whether agreement status changes in Adobe Sign are written back to a Status column on your board.
| Option | Behavior |
|---|---|
sync_status (default) | Automatically creates or updates a Status column with the current agreement state (e.g., IN_PROCESS, SIGNED, CANCELLED) |
do_nothing | Status changes in Adobe Sign are not reflected on the board |
Agreements to Board (Incoming Data)
Controls what happens with form field data when an agreement is updated in Adobe Sign.
| Option | Behavior |
|---|---|
do_nothing (default) | Form field data is not synced to the board |
update_column | Updates existing board columns that match form field names |
create_column | Creates new board columns if no matching column exists, then updates them |
See Column Mapping for details on how form fields are matched to columns.
Custom Mappings
For more precise control, you can define custom mappings that link a specific Adobe Sign form field to a specific monday.com column. Each custom mapping specifies:
- Board ID — which board the mapping applies to
- Column ID — which monday.com column to read from or write to
- Library Document ID — which Adobe Sign template the mapping applies to
- Form Field ID — which form field in the template to map
Custom mappings take priority over automatic name-matching when both are configured for the same board.
See Column Mapping — Custom Mappings for setup details.
Per-Agreement Options
The following options are set per-agreement when sending (not as global defaults):
- Reminder frequency — how often to remind unsigned recipients
- Expiration date — signing deadline
- Password protection — require a password to view the document
- CC recipients — additional email addresses that receive a copy
- Message — custom email message to recipients
