Manage Form Mailer settings, email quotas, and preferences.
Accessing Settings
- Open your Google Form
- Click the puzzle piece icon → Form Mailer → Configure
- Click the ⚙ Settings icon in the sidebar
General Settings
| Setting | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Enable Form Mailer | Turn email automation on/off for this form | On |
| Send to respondent | Send confirmation emails to form fillers | Off |
| Notify owner | Send notification emails to form owner | Off |

Email Quotas
Google imposes daily email sending limits for add-ons:
| Account Type | Daily Limit |
|---|---|
| Personal Gmail (@gmail.com) | 100 emails/day |
| Google Workspace | 1,500 emails/day |
Monitoring Usage
View your current quota usage in Settings → Quota:
- Emails sent today: current count
- Daily limit: your account's maximum
- Resets at: when the counter resets (midnight Pacific Time)
caution
When the daily quota is exhausted, Form Mailer queues remaining emails and sends them the next day. Critical notifications may be delayed.
Email Footer
Add a consistent footer to all emails sent by Form Mailer:
- Go to Settings → Footer
- Enter your footer text or HTML
- This is appended to every email (respondent and owner)
Common footer content:
- Company contact info
- Unsubscribe/opt-out notice
- Privacy policy link
Per-Form vs Global Settings
- Per-form settings are configured in each form's Form Mailer sidebar
- Global settings (like sender name and default footer) apply to all forms and are configured in Form Mailer → Global Settings
Per-form settings override global settings when both are configured.
Data & Privacy
- Form Mailer processes form responses only when a submission triggers an email
- No form data is stored on external servers — emails are sent directly via Gmail
- You can revoke Form Mailer's access at any time in your Google Account permissions
